Children Home

Volunteers can work at Children's home called "Children of the Universe" Children of the Universe is a home for the children who has no parents, under prevelidged children, children from the disable parents and children from the High Himalayan region of Nepal where there is no any posibilites for the children to go to school. At the moment, there are 51 children at home. Volunteers can help them with their knowledge and ideas.

Here is the routine of the Volunteers.

6.00 am	Wake up with morning ring bell
6.00 am - 7.30 am	Help them with wearing clothes and then self study
7.30 am - 8.00 am	Morning breakfast / Help with serve food and all
8.00 am - 8.30 am	Wearing uniform / help with proper uniform and all
8.30 am - 8.40 am	Walk them with till the school bus
8.40 am - 9.30 am	Breakfast / cleaning the dinning room
9.30 am - 10.00 am	Bready for the physical work
10.00 am - 12.00 pm	Physical work. Cleaning/ construction/ painting/ washing etc Or joining to school
12.00 pm - 12.30 pm	Lunch time
12.30 pm - 1.30 pm	Rest
1.30 pm - 3.30 pm	Physical work. Cleaning/ construction/ painting/ washing etc Or at school
3.30 pm - 4.00 pm	Rest
4.00 pm - 4.30 pm	Pick up the children from the school stop
4.30 pm - 5.00 pm	Evening tea time. Serve tea / and cleaning the dining room
5.00 pm - 6.00 pm	Free time. Playing with the kids and all
6.00 pm - 7.30 pm	Self study time. Helping either at kitchen or with the children
7.30 pm - 8.00 pm	Dinner….. Helping to clean and wash
8.00 pm - 9.00 pm	Self study for the elder children. Help the smaller to send bed
9.00 pm - 6.00 am	Good night……

Children of the Universe is having a vegetables garden too. We are planning to have a vegetable garden. So, the children will have real organic vegetables and fresh too. The rest part of the food, and waste parts of the vegetabel, we use to make compose. So, that compose we use for the field. Volunteer can help to the garden for the vegetable.

Another way is that we also teach our children about the garden. So, they will know something about the agriculture too. That is really useful for the home to save some money also.
